Love One Another

“Love one another as I have loved you.” — John 15:12

Love. Grow Together. Serve Our Neighbors.
Make your 2027 commitment on Commitment Sunday, October 25. Together, our commitments make it possible for St. John’s to live out our calling in the year ahead.

The 2027 Budget: A Closer Look

A budget is more than a collection of numbers. Behind every number are people, ministries, and opportunities to put love into action.

Our 2027 aspirational budget is $707,522, an increase of about $28,000 over our 2026 budget. This reflects our hopes for continued investment in the ministries and priorities of St. John’s.

A few areas of particular focus include:
  • Family Ministries: Continuing to support the growth we are experiencing among children and families.
  • Local and regional mission: Increasing our support for ministries like the LSU and Southern University Wesley Foundations and the St. Mark’s UMC feeding ministry.
  • Our church campus: Investing in the facilities, technology, and resources that help us worship, connect, and serve our community.
