New to St John's

a place for all of god's children

Welcome to St. John's

Whether you're exploring faith for the first time, returning after time away, or searching for a church to call home, we're glad you're here.

At St. John's, you'll find a community that seeks to love God, love our neighbors, and grow together in Christ. We believe church is more than a place you attend. It's a family where you are known, encouraged, and invited to use your unique gifts to make a difference.

No matter where you are on your journey, there's a place for you here. We would be honored to meet you, worship alongside you, and help you discover the hope and joy found in Jesus Christ.

We look forward to welcoming you in person.
Peace to you,
Rev. Lane Cotton Winn

10:00 am  on the 5th sunday of the month; in lieu of other services

A special, themed service, usually with an extended coffee time afterwards for everyone.

11:00 am

Traditional worship with a more formal style, featuring familiar hymns, organ music, and our Chancel Choir, along with traditional prayers and elements such as the Apostles’ Creed. Holy Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.

9:45 - 10:45 AM

Sunday School. We offer classes for children, youth, and adults of every age and stage. Guests are always welcome to visit a class and find a group that feels like home.

8:30 am

Traditional Worship with a relaxed style. Weekly Communion, an engaging message, and a mix of hymns, prayers, and traditional elements with a casual vibe, led by our Praise Team.

9:30 am

Coffee & Fellowship. Between services, you'll find coffee, conversation, and friendly faces in our Family Life Center, the “back” building on our campus. It's a relaxed opportunity to meet people and get connected.

If you're visiting for worship, look for designated guest parking near the Sanctuary entrance. Ushers are available on Sunday mornings to help answer questions and point you in the right direction.

Our campus is fully accessible, with designated accessible parking spaces and ramp access to all buildings.

If you're visiting for the first time, don't worry about finding your way. We'd be happy to help you get where you're going.

If you’d like to chat more about attending on Sunday, finding the right Sunday School for you, or have any concerns or questions, please reach out to our Director of Congregational Connection, Mary Madalyn St. Pierre.

Before You Arrive

Just yourself.
If you have a Bible, feel free to bring it, but they're also available in your pew during worship. Worship materials and announcements are provided.

What Should I Bring?

Absolutely.
Many people first experience St. John's because a friend invited them. Everyone is welcome.

Can I Bring Friends?

Not at all.
We love welcoming guests, but we won't ask you to stand up or introduce yourself publicly. Visit at your own pace. We do love to give you a Welcome Bag on your first visit so please visit our welcome table in the lobby (Narthex).

Will I Be Singled Out?

Come as you are.
On any given Sunday, you'll see everything from jeans and casual attire to dresses and jackets. You'll fit right in regardless of what you wear.

What Should I Expect?

Children are an important part of our church family, and they are always welcome in worship at St. John’s. At both services, children are invited forward for a special Children’s Moment, and children are welcome to receive Communion with the congregation.

Families can worship together in the sanctuary, make use of our Prayground, a child-friendly worship space that helps children engage with the service. Our nursery is available for infants through preschool-age children on Sunday mornings.

We also offer Sunday School for children and youth from 18 months through 12th grade, along with family-friendly opportunities throughout the year.
