Welcome to
Music at St. John's
At St. John's, we believe music is one of God's greatest gifts. It inspires worship, builds community, teaches faith, and connects us to one another in powerful ways. Whether you have years of musical experience or simply enjoy singing alongside others, there is a place for you here.
Our music ministry includes opportunities for children, youth, and adults to participate in worship through choirs, handbells, ensembles, and special seasonal events. We invite you to explore the opportunities below and consider joining us. We would be honored to make music with you.

Makers
Sunday Rehearsals
3:00-4:00 p.m.
Through singing, instruments, worship leadership, and special performances, young people learn that music is more than an activity. It is a way to express faith, serve others, and participate in the life of the church. Whether your child is just beginning to explore music or already loves to perform, there are opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute alongside peers in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Contact Dr. Steve Rushing, our Choir Director, to enroll in Music Makers.
Where Faith Finds Its Voice
The 99 Youth Band
Sunday rehearsals at 4:00 p.m.-5:00 pm.
The 99 is St. John's youth worship band, where middle and high school students use their musical gifts to lead others in worship and grow in faith together. Whether you sing, play an instrument, or serve behind the scenes, there's a place for you. Our youth band rehearses at 4:00 p.m. each Sunday before Youth Group. The name reflects Jesus' parable of the shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one, reminding us that every person matters to God. New students are always welcome to join us.
